Withdrawl anguish From geodon

I have extreme anxiety attacks when going down 20mg of geodon. Is there anyway to come off the medication so I do not feel the unbelievable pain of comming down in milligrams? do they use any other medications to stop the effects, as they do for acoholics and opiate withdrawl?
