Durham, UK on March 15, 2006 Category: Verapamil I Have just been relaeased from hospital today after 4 days.It all started about 5 weeks ago with a headache.the headache was behind my left eye and I had a sharp shooting pain through my left eye. i have been to see my G.P. twice and he said it was a tension headache and prescribed me with PARACETAMOL, IBUPROFEN and AMITRYPTALINE. I really went down hill 2 days later and ended up in hospital. where i had a C.T.scan xrays blood taken and all showed no danger signs.I saw several different doctors who all said something different.They all said it was a bnine headache but one said it changed to a migrane. another said i had a bad reaction to the amitryptaline.Another said they couldnt tell but that I had been given far to many tablets for 24hrs. Today I have just seen a nuerolergist who has said i am suffering from chronic cluster headaches and he has given me Verapamil tablets but in the instructions it says nothing to do with haedaches. Is this the right tablet to take?. |
