Drowsiness taking Chlorpheniramine in Allergy Sinus (non-aspirin) medication

In regards to allergy/sinus relief medication, is there an antihistamine that will not make me drowsy? I just bought Kirkland's Allergy Sinus (non-aspirin) medication which includes Chlorpheniramine Maleate - if I take it during the day, it makes me drowsy - I have no problem with taking it at night. The reason why I think I need an antihistimine is the tickling in the throat which keeps making me cough.

Non-drowsy allergy relief

Good luck. I tried Allegra without much luck, and I have been on Claritin (loratadine), but neither of these really kick the allergies for me. For the itchy throat, my best suggestion is to keep a bottle of Chloraseptic spray handy; the relief is temporary but immediate. The CM is the best thing I've found for general relief, but I just discovered that today; I'm hoping the drowsiness will be minimal.
