Category: Gentamicin sulfate

My dog was given gentamicin sulfate withbetamethasone valerate topical spray, and I noticed that after using it on my dog and having gotten it on my hands my psyriosis was clearing up. i also have it on my knee and so I put it on it and it took the ich away and dried up. My question is will this hurt me? I have tried so many different things and nothing has worked. If this helps I would be so gratefull, but I do not want anything that will hurt me.

I've not had any problems

I work at a vet clinic and have used gentamicin for bug bites and whatnot and have not had any problems with it. The reason it helps your psoriasis is because it is a topical steroid and reduces inflammation that causes the psoriasis. You just have to make sure not to use it more than 3-4 times a day and not on more than 20% of your body. A lot of the people at my clinic use it as well for minor irritations and bug bites, and I have found that it helps with psoriasis as well. The only thing is that i dont think you can get it OTC. It shouldn't hurt you if you dont over use it. Just make sure you watch for a rash or any excess irritation on areas that you put it.

Gentamicin

Do not get it in your bloodstream. I had it after an appendix operation as an IV medication to kill bacteria. I amnow 100% disabled with no balance, bad vision. Diagnosed w/ bilateral vestibular dysfunction, can't work, cannot play. Stay away from Gentamicin even as a topical application it will destroy your life check it out on the web.
