Drinking Alcohol and taking Claravis

My husband takes claravis and was told not to drink alcohol. He was taking antibiotics for acne for 1 month, then accutane for 1 month and now has been taking claravis for 3 weeks. The warnings say "Do not drink alcohol while using this medicine". On New Years Eve, he drank a glass of Champagne, not realizing. It has 10% alcohol. I haven't found what the side effects are or what he needs to do. Please help us.

Drinking & Taking Claravis

Hey, your husband is fine - Claravis is a generic form of Accutane and is labeled not to be taken with alcohol. Only by drinking three or more alcoholic beverages a day in combination with the meds can serious problems occur.

Im in the same boat, my Dermo didnt tell my that i couldnt drink but that may have been cause im young, and ive seen hella stuff online that says you shouldnt drink cause it reacts with the claravise* and makes your liver fucked up for the next blood test. I hope we are able to drink but i dont think so. :(
