Drug comparison between Guaifenex and Mucinex

Are guaifenex la 600 mg, an Mucinex 600 mg. the same drug, for the same ailment . such as chest congestion? I understand that Guaifenesin is an expectorant that loosens mucus in your lungs and wanted to know if these wo were the same, Guaifenex LA and Mucinex?
