Nitrofurantoin-macro side effects?By cee cee from chicago.Il on November 29, 2005 Category: Nitrofurantoin My daughter is 7 months pregnant . We are concerned about the side affects she is experiencing from the medication she was given to treat a urinary tract infection. It is called Nitrofurantoin-macro . Her OB/gyn does not seem to be alarmed by her complaints but we are. She is experiencing blood in her stool, spotting from the vagina, cramps and bloating pain in her lower uteral area and is completely lathargic. Prior to taking this medication she was doing yoga 4-5 times per week, working full time as a massage therapist , has had only a 13lb. weight gain , in other words very energetic and healthy. She has 5 days left of this perscription and the doctor tells her to finish it up or her infection will worsen. What can you tell us about this drug or alternatives? We are worried about the reactions, all she wants to do is sleep because she feels so aweful. Please respond quickly. Thank you,, Cee Cee Ryder |

If you all are feeling these symptoms i sugest you stop it and find a natural source rose hips, leamon or citric cid in water and cranberry juice along with water melon can help to pass this. some utis are just something th edrs come up with when there is nothing to be found wrong!! i sugest you up her water intake and put the lemon or citric acid into it also you can put apple cider viniger or white vinager in a gallon of water (as much as she can stand to ahve diluted into it) and have her drink that 3 to 4 times a day th eviniger is anatural atringent and is great to clean the kidneys out she shoul ddrink 8 to 10 ounces of this 3 times a day followed by water and cranberry juice 30 mins after drinking it the cranberry juice will also help clean out what was not cleaned by the water and vinegar mixture another thing is to drink 8 to 10 ounces of the water with the vinegar and follow it in 30 mins by 8 to 10 ounces of cranberry juice then follow that by as much clear water or water with lemon as she can stand to push the rest of it through also remember low or no sugar in the cranberry juice and water mixes because sugar can make the kidneys work harder if it is needed have he ruse splenda which is better on the system or have her use pasturized honey no raw because raw can hurt her and the baby in he rwomb. and untill she has the baby have her drink 100% juices and pure filtered water or lemon water with out any refined sugar!! watermelon can be eaten on a regular business to keep the kidneys wotrkin gwell!! helema By helema alkaabi from jacksonville, florida on January 13, 2009 | Reply | Write a Reply |
