primatene mist inhalor containing EpinephrineBy Lynn Sovel from America state of Oklahoma on September 09, 2010 Category: Epinephrine I have used Primatene since I was in my 30's, after having an asthma attack. Initially I was given prescprition inhalors, but after refill allowances ran out I bought Primatene and have continue to use it a least once a day if not more depending on circumstances. I am now 67 and I am a smoker. I quit smoking for about a year after my asthma attack, then resumed the smoking of mostly one pack a day, I have always been concerned about what this inhalor and wondered what sided affects it might have, but was able to rationalized to myself that it couldn't be that bad because it was an over the counter drug and wasn't that powerful. Now that I am 67, female, I am having all kinds of medical problems, I wonder if using the drug Epinephine, is the major player in my health problems. Since I do not believe in Doctors, and will not go to a Dr. unless I absoulty have to. I have consulted a Dr. (nurse practioner) to get a cortisone shot in my hip for hip pain. She has put me on Tramodol, which has helped. I am experiencing bad muscle soreness. I can' eat but a child's portion of food without the feeling of vomiting, and no appetite. Numbness in my legs after standing for about 10 mins. No energy, constantly fighting depression. |
