Apo sulfatrim

I took apo sulfatrim over 5 years ago for acne. I was on it for 6 months and then I stoppped for a few months where the acne then came back. I was on it again for another 6 months. After that I found I had very adverse affects to it. I am planning on becoming pregnant. Will this have any detrimental affects on my unborn baby? Is that even possible?
