Interaction with other drugs/vitamins

could you please give me some information and advice regarding the interaction of Timolol eye drops and other drugs and vitamins?

I am a Lupus sufferer and currently take the following medication:

Dihydrocodeine 30mg x 2, 3 time daily for chronic back pain.

Premarin 1.25mg x 1 daily

Alverine citrate capsules 60mg   as needed.

One a day multi vitamin, glucosamine and cranberry capsule.

These I have been taking for years without any problems. I was also prescribed Teoptic eye drops (1 drop in right eye each morning) for approximately 2 years as my family has a history of Glaucoma and my eye pressures have always been very high. When I moved to Lincolnshire I was told I didnt need them and for the past 18 months have not used any drops at all.

Six months ago I returned to Norfolk and after a Lupus flare was put on Plaquenil 200mg x1 daily and Diclofenac sodium 50 mg x 3 daily plus Omeprazole gastro resistant capsules 20mg as I have had problems with ulcers in the past.

Since taking the Timolol eye drops I have had a number of problems including: headaches, sudden weight gain, muscle weakness, tiredness, skin rash and blisters, discoloured urine, hoarseness, lack of energy, dizziness and now my left hand has swollen so much I have had to take my wedding ring off.

I have an appointment to see my doctor at the end of the week and the eye hospital a week later but I am worried as I dont feel well at all. My father had a history of heart desease and had four heart attacks but I dont feel that this has been taken into consideration. I understand the need for eye drops but do these particular drops interact with any of the other drugs to cause these symptoms? Sorry to be so long winded but you did ask for details!

Many thanks for your time

Jules
