Breastfeeding and Jolivette

I have just recently gave birth to my son about 3 weeks ago.  Along with the joys and looking forward to continue to breastfeed I have experienced some major disappointments.  It occured to me that not all medical professionals take into account the fact that a woman's choice in breastfeeding is considered upon deciding which birth control method is right for each individual woman.  I realized about a few days later after starting my birth control pill that i cannot breastfeed.  Which to many seems obvious but I thought perhaps it was a low dose.   Also to inform that breastfeeding while being consistant is a form of birth control.  THIS is not an attack the birthcontrol pill.  They are very much necessary in a busy woman's life but it took away my chance to help my son immunity because i was not informed until i did my own research.

Just to inform many women..If you are breastfeeding --donot use hormones of any kind.

Its best for the baby!
