Budeprion from Wellbutrin

Category: Wellbutrin XL (Oral)

I recently had to change from Wellbutrin XL brand to the generic equivalent. As I was searching the internet I found Budeprion in 150mg and 200mg strengths. My question-the bottle that I received is for Budeprion XL 300mg, manufacturer-Teva, Yellow oval pill marked w/the number 682. I cannot find that this is a definite generic equivalent as the sites indicate Wellbutrin XL active ingredient Bupropian. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Budeprion XL vs. Wellbutrin XL

Hi, my insurance also switched me to Budeprion Xl. The tablet is the same as you have described. I could not find information online about this pill (manufacturer, side effects, effectiveness vs. Wellbutrin XL, etc. ) If you find any info, please send me a link. Thanks

Budeprion XL is Wellbutrin XL

First, 300mg of Wellbutrin XL is a pretty standard dose. The pills you were finding in the SR are a twelve-hour release, versus the 24 hour extended release formula in the XL. Budeprion XL is VERY new, which is why you cannot find anything about it, even at the manufaturer's (TEVA) website. Most people can tolerate the switch to the generic well, occasionally with new (and sometimes temporary) side effects. You should notifiy your psychiatrist immediately if you notice a return in symptoms, such as suicidal thoughts, changes in sleep and eating, loss of interest in things, loss of enjoyment, feeling tearful, or otherwis down. Chances are if you responded well to Wellbutrin XL you will also do so with Budeprion XL.

From Wellbutrin XL 300mg to Budeprion XL 300mg

I tooked Wellbutrin XL 300mg for 3 years, last month I changed to Budeprion XL 300mg, as the generic price was much lower, but I felt really bad and my doctor told me that some persons do not react well to it. I had to go back and I feel much better now. It cost me 4 times more though, even with good insurance. What is that difference that affects certain people and does not affect others? Any ideas?

YELLOW BUDEPRION XL 300MG QUESTION

Did you ever get an answer on this. I started checking online to see if I could mix psuedoephedrine with this medicine and during my search for the answer to that, I noticed the same thing!! The only images that are displayed online are the white round pills. Mine are the oval yellow marked 682 made by TEVA. My doc is closed today so I can't get the answer from her.
