changing time blood pressure meds are taken

My husband is currently taking lotensin and maxzide together at the same time in the morning.  He has been very fatigued and dizzy, so his physician cut the dosage of the lotensin in half.  He is still very tired after taking this combination in the morning.  Can I change the time the lotensin is taken to dinner time, versus the morning?  Or should the maxzide be the one that is changed to dinner time?
