What happens if you took the pills in the wrong order?

Hello

I usually take Ortho-tri-cyclen however my drug store didn't have it so they gave me this generic brand, TriNessa. I wasn't used to the compact it came in and after taking six or seven pills, I realized I've been taking the dark blue pills instead of the white ones to start off with. I'm used to going counter clock-wise in the compact instead of clockwise. I wasn't thinking and today I realized I am going in the wrong order.

How does this affect my cycle? Will I be getting my period sooner? Has my body been fooled to think that it's getting closer to my period? Also, where do i continue with the pill? Keep going or start back on the white ones which I didn't touch (day 2 pill)?

Please supply me with proper instructions on where to continue and what I should expect.

I really appreciate it.

Thanks!

Emily

Same Thing Happened To Me...

heyy. i did almost the exact same thing except this is my first pack of pills and i took my pills in the correct order almost halfway through the light blue ones. then today i forgot to take my pill and asked my friend to get it for me an hour after i usually take it and i realized later tonight she went counter-clockwise instead of clockwise and gave me a dark blue one instead of a light blue. so i dunno what order i`m supposed to take them in now or if it`ll effect my period or the effect of the pill. did you figure anything out about it?? please let me know soon...

thanks ...
