Junel Generic compared to Microgestin Fe?

Hi,

I was taking Microgestin Fe 1.5/30 under my last healthcare provider. I got a new provider and they wrote me a prescription for home delivery. They gave me Junel as the generic alternative. Is it safe for health reasons as well as effective in preventing pregnancy to switch between generics?

Same thing happened to me- the home delivery pharmacy switched me from Microgestin to Junel. I called the pharmacist in a panic and he reassured me that it's the same thing. I think it might just be made by a different company and that company is the main one for that particular pharmacy. It is still as effective in preventing pregnancy.
