Missed period while on Junel FeBy Unknown on July 22, 2006 Category: Microgestin Fe 1.5/30 (Oral) I was on Junel 1.5 for a few months before my pharmacy switched me to Microgestin 1.5. Before with Junel my period was very light and spotty before finally getting normal and then I was switched. Now I have no period and I'm slightly worried. I'm going to take a pregnancy test but is this normal in any way. Are the inactive ingredients in generic drugs any different that it would cause me to miss a period all together? |
same problem with Junel FeI had the exact same reaction and I've been on it for months now still no period....But I've taken several pregnancy tests and I'm not pregnant so I don't know whats going on with these pills but I'm looking into switching. By Lindsey from USA on March 16, 2007 | Reply | Missed PeriodI recently switched from an IUD to Junel Fe and I missed my period the 1st month of using the birth control and also the 2nd month..I was worried so took 3 pregnancy test, they were all negative. However, my first child had those same test results and I need a blood test. I don't feel pregnant. Going to the md's b/c this skipping periods makes me nervous. I think I need a different dosage of the birth control pill. Also think I got a UTI and never had that before or either I'm preggo. Wish me good results. Not happy about this Junel Fe. By Anita from Beantown on May 14, 2009 | Reply | Been on Junel Fe for 3 months, missed periodI just started my third pack of Junel Fe and I have missed my period for this month. I am about 16-18 days late. (About 7-8 days after my period was suppose to start, I did have spotting for a few days) My periods have not been regular since I started Junel Fe but I have always gotten my period until now. I took a pregnancy test this past Sunday and it came back neg. For the past few days, I have been having some discharge; very similar to the discharge I have been I am ovulating. I really don't know what is going; don't know if those 4 days was actually my period while I was just spotting. I don't really think that I am pregnant (we use a condom each time and I am on BC) but things can happen. Does anyone know what is going on?
