Sore hands, knuckles and raised bumps from Pseudovent?By gloria from MI on July 21, 2006 Category: Pseudovent 400 (Oral) I just started taking this medication a couple of days ago. I've noticed just yesterday a red, sore bump on one of my fingers. Today I started to notice soreness in both of my hands and knuckles. When I walk, the bottom of my feet and toes sting. When I wash my hands, both hands are very sensitive to warm to hot water.I can actually see red light pricks in my fingers. Can you tell me whether this is a side effect or not? Thank You G

sore feeti just read your inquiry because my husband is taking Pseudovent as well as Zithromax. He is achy everywhere, but his feet have large red patches that are extremely painful and turn white when you touch them. He said it also felt like he is walking on tennis balls. He called our pharmacist who recommended he take some Benedryl and call the dr in the am. By C C on January 12, 2007 | Reply | Ms.I started taking a combo medication for 1 day that contain Dextromethorphan and Guaifenesin and other inactive ingrediates and then switched to Pseudovent 400 the next day upon seeing a physician. I immediately noticed that upon bathing my feet in hot water, I felt the sensation of pinpricks and itching. That feeling has not subsided when switching to Pseudovent. I had the same thing happen when taking a generic version of an antibiotic some years ago, while the same thing did NOT happen when I took the name brand version of the same antibiotic. This makes me believe that perhaps the inactive ingredients or the binding agents could be responsible. By th from San Diego, CA on March 02, 2007 | Reply | Write a Reply |
