Is Gentamicin Sulphate Ophthalmic Solution USP, commonly used for pinkeye. I don't know what kind of Pinkeye, that is what I'm trying to find out. My doctor did not tell me what kind I had or how long it will take to clear up. But this is what he perscribed me

thank you

RE: Pink Eye

My opthamologist has prescribed me Gentamicin sulfate for pink eye before and it effectively cleared up in three or four days. If you wear contacts, wait at least a week after symptoms cease before putting the contacts back in, though!
