Levoxyl while on Estrogen

I am a 50 year old female and I have been on estrogen for years, due to a hysterectemy. I just began taking levoxyl for my hypothyroidism about 6-8 months ago. I feel sure that it is impeding the effectiveness of my estrogen patch. Also, I have been having some other symptoms, such as sun sensitivity, sore gums, vaginitis, and a flare up with my lupus. In addition, I feel like I am on an emotional roller coaster. None of this was occurring until I began the levoxyl. I had not had any problems with my discoid lupus since I was diagnosed 25 years ago. I exercise regularly, try to eat properly, take a multi-vitamin. continually show optimum blood pressure, and I even have low cholesterol. Could the levoxyl be triggering any of these symptoms?

Thanks for your time,
Steph Daniel
