Just want to know why would this pill be taken for?
Just want to know why would this pill be taken for.? Like would you take it if you had and earinfation?

Each `250' Tablet contains: 250 mg amoxicillin and 125 mg potassium clavulanate. Each `500' Tablet contains 500 mg amoxicillin and 125 mg potassium clavulanate.
Each `125' Chewable Tablet contains 125 mg amoxicillin and 31.25 mg potassium clavulanate. Each 200 Chewable Tablet contains 200 mg amoxicillin and 28.5 mg potassium clavulanate. Each `250' Chewable Tablet contains 250 mg amoxicillin and 62.5 mg potassium clavulanate. Each 400 Chewable Tablet contains 400 mg amoxicillin and 57 mg potassium clavulanate. Each 5 mL of the `125' Powder for Oral Suspension contains 125 mg amoxicillin and 31.25 mg potassium clavulanate. Each 5 mL of the 200 Powder for Oral Suspension contains 200 mg amoxicillin and 28.5 mg potassium clavulanate. Each 5 mL of the `250' Powder for Oral Suspension contains 250 mg amoxicillin and 62.5 mg potassium clavulanate. Each 5 mL of the 400 Powder or the 400 Powder for Oral Suspension contains 400 mg amoxicillin and 57 mg potassium clavulanate. Action/Kinetics: For details, see amoxicillin. Potassium clavulanate inactivates lactamase enzymes, which are responsible for resistance to penicillins. Effective against microorganisms that have manifested resistance to amoxicillin. For potassium clavulanate: Peak serum levels: 1-2 hr. t 1/2: 1 hr. Uses: For beta-lactamase-producing strains of the following organisms: Lower respiratory tract infections, otitis media, and sinusitis caused by Hemophilus influenzae and Moraxella catarrhalis ; Skin and skin structure infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Klebsiella; UTI caused by E. coli, Klebsiella and Enterobacter. Note: Mixed infections caused by organisms susceptible to ampicillin and organisms susceptible to amoxicillin/potassium clavulanate should not require an additional antibiotic.
