Can Zyrtec be used in case of seasonal asthma

I have seasonal allergies and I have been prescribed Zyrtec. I have been coughing up to a point that it is hard to breathe. I was just wonder what kind of medication I can take whenever I have seasonal asthma.

I have seasonal indoor and outdoor allergies, and I take just one Zyrtec every night. I love Zyrtec because it does not make me drowsy, and I feel great all day long.

My husband has had great relief from seasonal allergies with this product. Since I also have problems with allergies when the pollen count is high, I was eager to give Zyrtec a try. I use Loratidine but since I was out of it, I took one dose of Zyrtec. I slept 12 hours that night when 6-7 hours is the norm for me. I also had shortness of breath, head congestion, and intense dreams. My husband insisted it was all in my head and suggested I take a second dose the next day. I did, and had the exact same side effects. It's important to remember that everyone is different. While Zyrtec works great for him, it did not for me. I'll continue using Loratidine for the forseeable future!
