Zithromycin dosage

I bought azitrocin (zithromax) in Mexico. It is a Pfizer product of four 500 mg tablets. What is the dosage of this compared to a Z pak. Should I take 1 whole pill the first day and cut the others in half to take the other 4 days? Mary
