Vistacot (Injection) is used for the Treatment

Hydroxyzine Hydrochloride (hye-DROX-i-zeen hye-droe-KLOR-ide) Treats anxiety, tension, severe agitation, nausea and vomiting, allergies, skin rash, hives, and itching. Also treats alcohol withdrawal, and anxiety or tension before surgery. This medicine is an antihistamine.

When To Not Use Vistacot (Injection)

You should not use this medicine if you have had an allergic reaction to hydroxyzine. Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant.

How Should You Use Vistacot (Injection)

What To Avoid While Using Vistacot (Injection)

  • This medicine may make you drowsy. Avoid driving, using machines, or doing anything else that could be dangerous if you are not alert.

Call your doctor right away if you notice any of these side effects:

  • Pain, swelling, redness, or tenderness where the shot is given.
  • Twitching or muscle movements you cannot control.
  • If you notice these less serious side effects, talk with your doctor:
  • Dry mouth.
  • Headache.
