My seasonal allergies caused severe eye itching, which led to red, swollen, and painful eyes. A friend mentioned Vasocon A and I came to love the slight burning when I put the recommended drops in my eyes. When the product was no longer available, I tried several OTC drops to no avail. Naphcon A is good in a pinch, but it isn't as effective as Vasocon. I cannot find any reason why this product is no longer available. Sigh....

I had been using "over the counter" Vasacon A for years. I used it daily at first because it cleared my eyes as I have severe allergies and it made my eyes feel instantly better after the somewhat of a sting which was well worth the ensuing results. My vision was also brighter and my eyes were not tired afterwards either. My doctor said I should not use these every day so I used them in a very limited situation. I have never found anythiny even somewhat comparable !!!! I had no other side effects.

I would love to know how to purchase these drops again made by the company, Novartis ??
