As someone who is biploar, I often get exited about a new drug that might help solve all my problems. I thought Trileptal might fit into this category, but I was none to pleased. It did absolutely nothing for my depressive episodes. They were still there. And it made my manic episodes even worse. This drug is so bad that I'm wondering if there is something else at work here, like making people addicted somehow or money (of course).

I'm really upset with whoever allowed Trileptal to get approved. And the word 'upset' is being very nice. All this medication did was make my manic episodes more manic and my depressive stages more depressing. I feel as though I was at a risk to others while suffering from manic episodes and risk to myself while in a depressing stage. Not recommended!
