When I first began to take 20mg Ritalin it really made a difference in my life. However, it wasn't long before I developed a facial tic. I started wrinkling up my nose and blinking my eyes without stopping. I quit taking the medication on my own. Later I was given Focalin, I really like the results from this product.

I have been on Ritalin for about two weeks now, and it has been a miracle. I used to feel overwhelmed at work all the time, but that has stopped now. I usually take a pill as soon as I get to work and then take another one four hours later. Each pill is 10 milligrams. One thing I have noticed is that I get headaches when I am not taking Ritalin. Today, I also started to have a small tic on my cheek. In addition to Ritalin, I take Celexa to help counter my depression. I think Ritalin has helped with my depression a bit, too. I really wish I had taken this medication when I was younger, because it is helping me so much now. I needed to start taking Ritalin far earlier than I did.
