I have come to the realization that I will never take Risperdal Oral again. My physician prescribed Risperdal Oral to me because I was having problems with sleep. I was only on the medication for two weeks before I started having terrible night terrors. The side effects were so bad I that I needed to be hospitalized. Nine months later the Risperdal is completely out of my system and I am finally beginning to feel normal again.

I do not recommend Risperdal to any of the parents out there. The doctor prescribed this to my child to help stimulate his hunger so he would eat. My son, who has ADD, was mentally foggy after taking this drug. It is like his processing slowed down. He also became paranoid and anxious.
