Can taking Norco cause loss of libido in men?

My husband takes norco for arthritis pain. Could this be the cause of his drastic decline in libido? If so, what can we do about it?

I am a 47 year old male that has had several orthopedic surgeries. I had my first left hip replaced at age 35, then I had a lumbar laminectomy on L3-L1(three levels). At the age of 40, my right hip went bad and had to be replaced. I am now going on my fourth hip on that side, along with another right leg surgery for heterotopic ossification, and bony tumors in my quad muscle from the trauma in that leg. All of these surgeries have caused severe hip and right leg pain due to nerve damage and several scar tissues. I went to see a pain management specialist and he has been performing caudal epidurals in my lumbar spine and prescribed MS Contin 30mg 2x a day with Norco 10/325 for "breakthrough" pain. He first had me on Percocet for the breakthrough pain, which was effective for about 9 months. Soon after, it became ineffective, and he switched me to the Norco, which I must say has been a God send. I still receive the epidurals every other month with the monthly pain medication refills. These treatments have given me my active life back and now I may be able to go to the gym and return to teaching martial arts.

I have had chronic pain for the most of my life. I have tried several other medications and Norco works much better. I am presently in the process of trying other treatments as well but I do not think that they are going to be much help for me in the condition that I am in.
