You should not use this medicine if you have had an allergic reaction to cortisone drugs such as hydrocortisone, triamcinolone, betamethasone, or fluocinonide.
How Should You Use MOMETASONE FUROATE (Topical) (Cream

- Use this medicine on the skin only. Keep the medicine away from your eyes, nose, and mouth.
- Your doctor will tell you how much to use and how often.
- Apply a thin layer of mometasone to cover the affected area. Rub it in gently.
- You may feel a mild stinging as you rub in the medicine.
- Keep using the medicine for as long as your doctor told you to.
- Do not put the medicine on your face, unless your doctor told you to. Do not cover or bandage the area where you used the medicine unless your doctor told you to.
- You should not use the medicine more often or for longer periods than your doctor ordered. If a dose is missed:
- Use the medicine as soon as possible unless it is almost time for your next dose.
- If it is almost time for your next regular dose, wait until then to apply the medicine and skip the missed dose.
- Do not put on two doses at the same time.
