3 years ago I began using Metaformin. I began with 500 mg and by the end I was at 2000 mg. I had a CTScan and stopped using this drug. Immediately I realized a positive change in my health over all. The two biggest changes were that I no longer had internal shaking and I had more energy. Since I have stopped taking Metformin, I feel better than I have in the 3 previous years.

My use of Metformin has left me frustrated because I have gained weigt as opposed to lost weight. Not to mention, my blood sugar was lower initially and then increased even though I ate a healthy diet. I exercise regularly but it apparently does not have any effect.
