  • Diarrhea (loose, watery stools that may or may not contain blood).
  • Fever, chills, cough, sore throat, and body aches.
  • Light-headedness or fainting.
  • Shortness of breath, cold sweat, and bluish-colored skin.
  • Swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet.
  • Unusual bleeding, bruising, or weakness.
  • If you notice these less serious side effects, talk with your doctor:
  • Mild nausea, vomiting, or upset stomach.
  • Sores or white patches on your lips, mouth, or throat.
  • Swelling, pain, or redness near where your IV needle is placed.
