- Burning or itching where the IV is placed
- Fast or irregular heartbeat
- Feeling faint or lightheaded
- Skin rash or itching
- Swelling in face, lips, or throat If you notice these less serious side effects, talk with your doctor:
- Constipation or diarrhea
- Nausea or vomiting
- Sweating , dry mouth, or thirst
- Unusual dreams or trouble sleeping
