I use this on a regular basis due to medications I take. I has been a life saver. However you are correct if I take it about 6am by lunch I am vomiting. I take 3 because I want them to work fast and they do. The pain... yes you do get cramps and it will make me sick but it passes along with everything else I want to pass. It does what it says but I think if changed it the product might now be as affective. I hate the pain and the vomiting but I like the end result.

I thought the stores were sold out of correctol at first. I've looked high low for it. There is no other laxative that works for me like Correctol. Can someone please explain why it has been removed from the shelves. I can see there a many people who want it back.

Why has the only laxative in the world been taken off the market for people who suffer from IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) like me? The store brands DO NOT WORK with my medical condition, and I'm sure there are others out there who are suffering the pain of every day constipation like me because this fantastic product was taken off the shelves. What a pitty.

This is a horrible product! I will never take it again. It's poison to your body. I took one pill before I went to bed. About 6 hours later I woke up with the worst abdominal pain I have ever known. I felt nauseous, started sweating and my stomach ached intensely for about an hour b/f I had a bowel movement - which was diarreha (sp). I've since had stomach pain all day long and more loose stools. I've felt horrible all day long. I will NEVER take this product again and believe they should remove it from the market or have great warnings of the horrendous pain it causes as a side effect.

Oral tablets are the only laxatives that work effectivley for me. Yes I am laxative dependent and have been since I was a child. I have a severe spastic colon and creates severe constipation. I am not able to find these tablet in the name brand anymore only as equate, or walgreens, brand name that compares itself to correctol but believe me it does not work the same.
