Taking clomid while being pregnant

I was prescribed my first cycle of Clomid. I waited to take my first pill after my first day of my period. It looks like the light bleeding I had was not my period, I took the clomid, and now found out I was possibly pregnant when taking the clomid. ...

I haven't technically started taking Clomid yet, but I was just given the prescription for the medicine and will begin taking it in November. I have been trying to conceive for almost 8 years now. I am already 26 years old and I am not ovulating, so my husband and I decided it was probably time to go ahead with this medication. I know what it is like to get very excited but feel let down by other methods we have used in the past tried to get pregnant. I am really nervous because my husband feels confident in this drug and I do not want him to be disappointed. Right now, we are both on vitamins--I am taking a prenatal vitamin and my husband is taking a multivitamin with extra zinc. Please pray for my family and send us your best wishes. I really hope to be pregnant by Christmas! What a wonderful present that would be.

After suffering from endometriosis for years, I was able to have a procedure done and was put on this medication. I have been on it for one year and still have not been able to get pregnant. I plan to continue using it until next year when I see my doctor again, at which time I am hoping he will increase my dosage. I realize that patience is a must with this type of treatment and that I cannot expect overnight results. I have a terrible time with hot flashes and slight abdominal cramping, but otherwise have suffered no major side effects.
