I started taking this medicine after being hospitalized with liver rejection. After ever dose my body felt like pins where poking me all over and I was extremely itchy. My body was in excruciating pain! I was told that it was due to my liver numbers being elevated and to continue taking it with benedryl but it did nothing to comfort me! I was in constant pain but it would always increase to where I couldn't tolerate it about a half hour after each dosage! Everyday I cried and felt like I was falling apart so I took myself off of it (against my transplant doctors advice) and slowly but felt immediately better. After numerous calls to my doctor begging and pleading to take me off of this med and they wouldn't so I had to do it for my own sake! Unfortunately my doctors would never hear me but I know it was the med causing the Hell I was going through.
