Dog over dose
My daughters dog chewed open the bottle of Worm medicine containing: Active ingredient: 4.54 mg of pyantel base as pyrantel pamoate pr mL. Will he be OK without medical treatment?

dosage timing
I am pretty sure I am afflicted w/morgellons disease, but the pyrantel pamoate suspension seems to help for awhile, I am wonderfing how often I can safely take a two and one half teaspoon dose.

What are the side affects if my puppy was over dose on pyrantel pamoate the maker is lambert kay bought at walmart .my puppy is 8 weeks and the 2nd time wormed in 2 weeks i gave them a teaspoon each time now they are moaping around diarrhea with blood...

Classification: Anthelmintic Action/Kinetics: Has neuromuscular blocking effect which paralyzes the helminth, allowing it to be expelled through the feces. Also inhibits cholinesterases. Poorly absorbed from GI tract. Peak plasma levels: 0.05-0.13 mcg/mL after 1-3 hr. Partially metabolized in liver. Fifty percent is excreted unchanged in feces and less than 15% excreted unchanged in urine. Uses: Pinworm (enterobiasis) and roundworm (ascariasis) infestations. Multiple helminth infections, as it is also effective against roundworm and hookworm. Contraindications: Pregnancy. Hepatic disease. Special Concerns: Use with caution in presence of liver dysfunction. Safe use in children less than 2 years of age has not been established. Side Effects: GI (most frequent): Anorexia, N&V;, abdominal cramps, diarrhea. Hepatic: Transient elevation of AST. CNS: Headache, dizziness, drowsiness, insomnia. Miscellaneous: Skin rashes. Drug Interactions: Use with piperazine for ascariasis results in antagonism of the effect of both drugs. How Supplied: Suspension: 144 mg/30 mL, 720 mg/5 mL; Tablet: 180 mg
