Doctor prescribed this to me for chigger bites and it was the ONLY thing which stopped the intense itching from the chigger bites. Those bites itched like no other bite I have ever had. I understand it is a super strong corticosteriod but I am glad to have this around for those just in case times an itch will not go away. I give it a FULL 5 Stars for helping my chigger bites. You should ask your doctor about this if you have intense itching which will not go away.

You know, if you want to commiserate about how awful Blue Cross/Blue Shield is when it comes to deailng with alopecia, you should talk to my mother. She has stories of trying to make them pay for Rogaine (when it was prescription only and $75/bottle), steroid shots, and wigs when I was a child that will make your hair curl (pun intended, and not trying to offend, but you get the idea.)

You should NOT rate this based on your insurance coverage. My insurance covered it and coverage has NOTHING to do if it works or not. This strong corticosteriod stops itching when nothing else will work. From chiggers, insect bites and/or dermatitis, eczema, etc.
