Mild hypocalcemia, antacid, antihyperphosphatemic.

Dosage
?Chewable Tablets, Tablets, Suspension, Gum, Lozenges, Wafers
Adults: 0.5-1.5 g, as needed.
?Capsules, Suspension, Tablets, Chewable Tablets
Hypocalcemia, nutritional supplement.
Adults: 1.25-1.5 g 1-3 times/day with or after meals.
Antihyperphosphatemic.
Adults: 5-13 g/day in divided doses with meals.
NOTE: The preparation contains 40% elemental calcium and 400 mg elemental calcium/g (20
mEq/g).
