Levitra Product Description
Levitra is an oral therapy(taken from mouth) for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. This monohydrochloride salt of vardenafil is a selective inhibitor of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP0-specific phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5).
Vardenafil HCL is designed chemically as piperazine, 1-[[3-(1, 4-dihydro-5-methyl-4-oxo-7-propylimidazo[5.1-f][1,2,4-2-yl)-4-ethoxyphenyl]sulfonyl]-4-ethyl-, monohydrochloride and has the following structural formula:
Vardenafil HCl is a nearly colorless, solid substance with a molecular weight of 579.1g/mol and a solubility of 0.11 mg/mL in water. Levitra ® is formulated as orange, round, film-coated tablets with “BAYER” cross debossed on one side and “2.5”, “5”, “10”, and “20” on the other side corresponding to 2.5mg, 5mg, 10mg, and 20mg of vardenafil, respectively. In addition to the active ingredient, vardenafil HCl, each tablet contains microcrystalline cellulose, crospovidone, colloidal silicon dioxide, yellow ferric oxide and red ferric oxide.

Levitra is a medicine taken by mouth for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. ED is a condition where the penis does not harden and expand when a man is sexually excited, or when he cannot keep an erection. Levitra may help a man with ED get and keep an erection when he is sexually excited. Levitra must be used only under a doctor's care.

medication for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It is available in 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg, and 20 mg tablets and is taken only when needed. Take LEVITRA no more than once a day.
What LEVITRA does:
LEVITRA -> helps increase blood flow to the penis and may help men with ED get and keep an erection satisfactory for sexual activity. Once a man has completed sexual activity, blood flow to his penis should decrease and his erection should go away.
LEVITRA -> has been clinically shown to improve erectile function even in men who had other health factors, like diabetes or prostate surgery.

Dose forms
Levitra TabletIt is available in 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg, and 20 mg doses in round orange tablets. The normal starting dose is 10 mg (roughly equivalent to 50 mg of sildenafil). Vardenafil should be taken 25-60 minutes prior to sexual activity, with a maximum dose frequency of once per day.
Levitra is now available for sale in US after approved by FDA on 19th August, 2003. Levitra is the new arrival gaining popularity in the ED market once dominated by Pfizer's Viagra.Levitra (vardenafil) will be a more natural for men(in comparison to Viagra) who have not benefited from Viagra.
Precautions before using it:
Take proper Doctor's advice , if you :
1.have heart problems such as angina, heart failure, irregular heartbeats, or have had a heart attack. Ask your »doctor if it is safe for you to have sexual activity.
2.have low blood pressure or have high blood pressure that is not controlled
3.have had a stroke
4.or any family members have a rare heart condition known as prolongation of the QT interval (long QT syndrome)
5.have liver problems
6.have kidney problems and require dialysis
7.have retinitis pigmentosa, a rare genetic (runs in families) eye disease
8.have stomach ulcers
9.have a bleeding problem
10.have a deformed penis shape or Peyronie's disease
11.have had an erection that lasted more than 4 hours
12.have blood cell problems such as sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma, or leukemia
13.Don't use Alcohols, nitrates with is.
14.Levitra should not be taken with grapefruit or grapefruit juice. Levitra can react with grapefruit juice, and the reaction may have dangerous effects. Discuss the use of grapefruit juice with your doctor.
15. Don't take any medicines called “alpha blockers” (alpha blockers are sometimes prescribed for prostate problems or high blood pressure)
16.have blood cell problems, such as sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma, or leukemia
17. Do not take Levitra more than once a day. In some cases, use of Levitra may be restricted to once every 72 hours (3 days). Follow your doctor's instructions.
