Hey July17, how are you doing?

Discuss sexual difficulties (decreased sexual ability or desire) with your Prescriber or Health Care Provider. Although it is a side effect of PAROXETINE (Paxil®, Paxil® CR™) its use may have induced physical determinants but with anyway, patients must be referred for professional help. (Rualo-Pasigan 416)

Such physical determinants include ...a prolapsed uterus or overy; the remains of a hymen; endometrosis, fibroid tumors; dryness of the vaginal mucosa relulting from lack of hormones of of propor stimulation; a lost of vaginal elasticity e.g. in after menopause... Other psychoneurotic causes include: ... a defense mechanism against pregancy, an impotent or overanxious husband who inflicts her with his troubles; and an extreme over anxiety to have children. (Rualo-Pasigan 416)

Surley the churning of milk
bringeth forth butter, and the
wringing of the nose
bringth forth blood: so the
forcing of wrath bringth forth strife.
(Wisdom Of Solomon)

Orgasm for a women is as natural as it is for a man and as desirable although not nearly as certain. Failure to have an orgasm is due, above all, to social and psychogenic reasons. (Rualo-Pasigan 416)

However, the major symptom, which leads to irritation and pain, is a lack of lubercation (precoital fluid) that is normally produced when a woman is aroused, making the entry of the penis smoother and easier for both partners. The precoital fluid also lowers the acidity of the vagina so that sperm can survive. (Rualo-Pasigan 416)

Discontinue sexual activity until you frankly discuss this problem with your Prescriber or Health Care Provider. The danger of continued orgasmic failure in women, because of her own short commings or because of male ineptitude, will suffer psychological harm as well as physical upset from unrelieved congestion of the genitalia. (Rualo-Pasigan 416)

In addition, check with your prescriber or health care professional if you get an attack of severe diarrhea, nausea and vomiting, or if you sweat a lot or there is a decreased amount of urine passed. The loss of body fluid can make it dangerous to take ramipril. (ExpressScripts ([DrugDigest.org] RAMIPRIL [Altace®])

Many people (men and women, equally) suffer from one form of sexual dysfunction or another soley caused by the medications they are taking. It may very well be the Paxil but it may be one of your other meds - or the reaction of a combination of one or more. You need to inform your doctor of your problem so an adjustment can be made in your medication therapies.
