My mother was suffering from breast cancer and she has to be operated. Yesterday she was put on diprivan before her surgery. By grace of god, everything has gone on well and the surgery has been successful. But one thing is worrying me that my mother has not regain conscious till now... I am overanxious coz she should have already been conscious. While reading about some side effects, I've quoted this:

Quote
If you experience one or more of the following side effects, please inform your doctor immediately:-
  • Uncontrolled muscle tremors
  • Inflammations and itchiness of the skin
  • Fits or convulsions
  • Breathing complications and anomalous heartbeat
  • Temporary unconsciousness
  • Throat inflammation
  • Severe feelings of pain or acute inflammation during injection of Diprivan

If you experience giddiness or slight pain during Diprivan injection, it is not necessary to treat these conditions. However, if they persist and increase, please inform your doctor as it might require treatment.

Is this normal?? I don't want to lose my mother....
