Are there any good over the counter diet pills on the market than anyone has had success with using?
Looking to lose about 15 pounds and have been exercising but the weight will not come off.
I would want something preferably without stimulants.
Thank you.

Hey Margret, how are you doing?
Everyone knows that the overwhelming cause of gaining weight is obvious -eating more than you need. Therefore, the cause of loosing weight should be eating only what you need.
The problem with over eating is not that you are eating too much, you are not eating enough nutrients. 1-5 pounds are nornal. You can eat five pounds on you easily, during the Thanksgiving holiday. Do the math.
The ideal daily intake of food is nine calories per pound of ideal body weight. If I had known your height, I have a Table Standard Table Of Desired Weights For Men and Women. Could have given you your ideal body weight, according to your sized body frame. Loosing a bad eating habit, is far more rewarding than just loosing a few pounds.
Nonetheless, if you really, really believe that you need to take an OTC pill, then invest in you some vitamins. You see, it takes a whole lot of food to supply you with the nutrients that you need. And anytime you find yourself not eating enough, you become starved of nutriations. Nutrients that your body desperately needs. Which could in turn, be the basis of every disease.
Good luck!
Byron

No. None that won't harm your liver, heart or kidneys in the long run. Keep up on your exercise. Switch your exercise routines so that you aren't repeating the same moves so that other parts of your body and be stimulated as well. Eat smaller portions. Walk, walk, walk - it's the best thing you can do for every organ, muscle and artery in your body! Stay away from the pills. |

Hello Margret,
Everyone knows vital good health DOES NOT come from the insides of bottles... we all know that already, we've all tried that route. They (the compamies and corporations have sold us the myth of sick care... feel sick, take a pill... but in fact, what we all need is health-care.... how to stay healthy and how to throw away their bottles of pills. That is what we all need... we all would be better off.
I have found that the HPS-ONLINE.COM website addresses this subject better than any other website.
They seem to have their heads screwed on when it comes to weight loss... check them out.

Guest,
I checked out this site like you suggested and it seems to focus on the theory that "colon cleansing" is an important role in maintaining good health and is a key in enabling weight loss. Also, I see that they want to charge a person $699.00 for the kit and directions - wow, what a fee considering water is free. (My opinion only - no offense meant).
If this is something that you invest in and it works for you that is great. However, working directly in the surgical/cancer field, I myself am not a believer in these kinds of products. The colon does not need "cleansing."
Our bodies naturally detoxify every day. Detoxification is a normal body process of eliminating or neutralizing toxins through the colon, liver, kidneys, lungs, lymph glands, and skin. Just as our hearts beat nonstop and our lungs breathe continuously, so our metabolic processes continuously dispose of accumulated toxic matter.
Even if it did, there is no proof that these product would actually cleanse it. Your best bet is to eat a diet that is high in fiber and drink a lot of water to maintain regularity and achieve good colon health.
Juice fasts are not a great way to lose weight, because you'll gain it all back -- you yo-yo. The weight you lose is water weight.
Eating less and exercising -- that's definitely known to work for most people. Eating the right foods, getting exercise, clean living, keeping a positive mental attitude -- that's what is healthiest. |
